Phew…anyone else still having a Turkey hangover?
Well, there’s a really great way to work off that turkey…
Or so I thought. Has anyone else noticed how “Black Friday” now starts on Tuesday night? It’s like they have “Pre-Black Friday”, “Pre-pre Black Friday”, then the actual Black Friday. I guess there are some perks to having Black Friday start on Tuesday. I’ve noticed that in the town I live in the madness is a lot less. What I mean is that people aren’t so “deal crazy” because they’ve been getting the deals all week. They don’t have to trample little ol’ grandma’s in order to get that cheap TV anymore. No one needs to punch their neighbor so they can get the last copy of “Gilmore Girls Season 7”.
The drawback that I see is that Black Friday really started the end of September. I’m not exaggerating. I went to Wally World at the end of September and saw Christmas decorations out. CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS! We’re moving back Christmas so far that I feel like a big part of the magic is already gone by the time the actual holiday gets around.
I know, I know. This is a money saving site, but I guess I’m saying that sometimes, there are more important things than money and deals. And by sometimes, I mean most of the time.
Anyway, hope your holiday season has been great so far. Let’s pray that it will continue.
